My brother's 1970 Hemicuda now has a new owner. There were 3 buyers awaiting the decision as to which one would buy one of the best documented low mile 1970 Hemicudas and his son selected the one that is local to us. Their plan is to get it to running condition back in stock form and take it on the road around the country to the big shows. There will be a display setup with the car featuring all the race parts we had on the Cuda and the history of our FUN with it. Being local we will be able see it run again! My brother's son and daughter have never heard it run which will be a BIG treat for them! Sad to see it go but happy to see it in good hands. It sold for 6 figures.

Glad they chose the local buyer and will get to see the car fully restored.

Kind of a bittersweet event. It is good it will belong to someone who will completely restore and maintain the car while sharing it at the shows.

It's funny how some things that you decide to sell can go to whomever ponies up the cash, but others have to go to the "right" buyer. There are things that we all have, that were coveted additions to our list of possessions, but are no longer used or needed. Those need to go to someone that appreciates them, and the money is often a secondary consideration.
I'm glad the car is going to someone that appreciates the history, and the path that car followed, before it got to them.

The 426 Hemi has a exhaust sound like no other. You know you've got a chained monster under the hood. I ran B Stock with my '69 SuperBee. Never lost a drag on the street or the strip.

A time capsule continues……
Love the pics and the contrast between the old snapshots and the current pic in the building. Fun!
