Stinkin' smoke

My lungs got roughed up a bit back in 2021 during a nasty bout of Fauchi flu. But after eight days in the hospital and a couple months with an oxygen bottle I'm probably as frisky as can be expected at 77 years old. Doc says people with compromised lungs should avoid a lot of exposure to this stench from Canada. Bolshevik!! We went fishing yesterday.

For those of you who haven't had a taste of the treat from up north.....the lake is just over a mile across in this picture. It was also a cloudless day :x

Yes, this is one of the longest stretches of smoke we've had, up here. Just won't clear up.

My sympathies to those of you in the upper Midwest and the smoke. The picture above is typical for us but so far this year we’ve been pretty much smoke free. Hopefully you’ll get some nice smoke clearing weather soon.

We have been blessed this summer with lots of rain and clean air.
