I hope our members who live in Oklahoma avoided the fires which were on the national news channels the last day or so.

We were ready, laid out hoses to wet down the yards and the roof of the house and workshops and pray. But, we were spared. We had a fire just the other side of our small town, about two mikes from us, but the volunteers controlled that. In the nearby small town about ten miles away, a larger fire made it into the trees, but with multiple engines, and thousands of gallons from the tankers, the put it down.
In ADA, the bigger city, fires destroyed several businesses and properties but didn't do as much damage as they did in Stillwater and OKC, northwest of us.

Happy to hear this BOM, been thinking about you. Not sure where Vaquero lives in TN but sure hope he wasn’t in the path of the storm. My knowledge of the geography of the SE sucks.

I keep a US map handy. I used to know VA well, but memory issues. Don't know OK that well at all, and I just type in the distance searches when Tina asks "How far are we from?"
