Hammer extender

Hi,
Everyone first the kind words about me losing a friend. I have a question about hammer extenders. I years ago had a Marlin 30-30 lever action I eventually sold. That didn’t have an extender of any type and felt that on cold days hunting with gloves on it was a little more difficult to release the hammer holding tightly and slowly squeezing the trigger. Obviously I made sure it was point3d in a safe direction. However seeing these on the market now seems like a good idea. I am planning on putting a scope on the .243 single shot so probably would be a good idea to have one on that gun. I am wondering if any of you have one on the single shot shotgun. I see there’s the one by Carlsons, Ranger Point Precision and Grove Tec. Any
Recommendations. Some reviews say they don’t fit well like some I put of possible.

Thanks for any help.

I have one's from GrovTec. I like them. I don't have any single shot rifles though.

I have a few on the various Marlin rifles, and the one I put on my BBS I believe was from Grov tec like Mags.
But that's been like almost 9 years ago.

Guide -

I ordered on-line from Henry Parts & Accessories and am pleased with the hammer extender they shipped. I cant' recall for sure but I think it is a GroveTec but it fit well.

I think that Henry Parts & Accessories might be a hassle-free way to go.

Henry Parts currently sells two versions. The one from 'Carlsons' is ambidextrous, t shaped, extends both sides of the hammer. Has 'Henry' monogram on it. It's less expensive than the Amazon price. But Henry will charge for shipping, while Amazon ships for free. It can also be bought at Carlsons, but is significantly more expensive.
The 2nd version that Henry sells is single sided. It can be installed left or right side. Henry removed where they get it from their website, but it used to say GrovTec. It is less expensive than buying from GrovTec. Both Henry and GrovTec charge for shipping.

The hammer extender I bought from Henry Parts must be the GrovTec as it is single sided. Good piece of equipment and is almost a necessity if you mount a scope on your rifle.

Thanks for the info., Mags.
