She has made a few for me over the years, but I love this one.


She has been making Quilts of Valor and sending them to our area coordinator since she learned of the program when I was nominated for a Quilt by a friend. They were in need of Quilts to attempt to catch up and she has been knocking them out and sending them in. Her first donation was awarded last month. She has sent in a half dozen so far, but made one for me in the process as well. I LOVE this design.

If she decides to sell off some of the eight to ten she has backed up in the fall craft shows, I may make a couple nice ladder type racks she can fold away and store when not in use. She'll just use the money for more supplies to make...

The other option is Craigslist, and meet folks at the Sheriff's Office for a cash sale. Nope, no mailing to strangers and having the charges reversed. BTDT.

Love it. I have a neighborhood friend who is big into quilting. She's invited me to give it a try, but my old eyes just tire so quickly now with any kind of needle work.
