Busy week

Post by bandit1250 » Sat Nov 05, 2016 8:41 pm

This has been a busy week for me. Spent two days in Ohio with a friend running to some LGS in the area. Bought some bullets for loading my 222 Sako and some rim fire for a friend back here. They had a good supply of ammo for rim fires at the Fin-Feather-Fur store. They had 22 Magnum also. Left there and went down Rt.7 to I-70 and stopped at Cabela's. Those people are insane what they ask for totally beat to death used guns. Some of the stuff on the racks priced barely less than new looked like it had been dragged behind a truck to their hunting spot. I never seen so much over priced beat up stuff in one place before. Then I came home and finished my project here at home I needed to get done and I did slip out in the woods and get a few squirrels. No pictures as photobucket was down here so I left the camera home. Friday the woods was dead. Nothing moving in the morning except Blue Jays and crows. Threw in the towel about 10:30 and came home and worked in my room. Then today over the road to the Shippensburg, Pa. gun show. Bought some ammo boxes foe 222 size cartridges and nothing else but sold some knives that I will never use. Then tomorrow back down the Interstate to the Stock/Super Stock drag races at Hagerstown, Md. I love keeping busy. It keeps me out of trouble. ;)

Yes, that qualifies as busy. If it doesn't, it will do until busier gets here.

Yep, wore me out reading it! :D
I agree with your assessment of Cabela's used guns. I saw a 39a Mountie once that looked like it had been drug down a gravel road. They wanted $699 for it, I could see why people love them in good shape. I hate to think they eventually sold it to someone at that price.
Load on Sunday and Shoot all Week.......okay it's a Mare's Leg I will reload on Wednesday. ;)

A busy weekend including firearms and ammo sounds good to me!

Mine was busy as well. Worked most of a full day on Friday and flew out of LAX to Pittsburgh. Didn't get to my hotel until 2am. Drove two hours the next morning for a baby shower. Flying back home through DC right now. Lots of travel for sure. Good to see family.

Just figured I'd share my busy weekend as well.
