I am not a fan of Camping World and will only buy from them as a last resort .... nor will I allow them to work on our camper .... that said, I do agree with them in fighting a California town's order to take down their store's American Flag

I wouldn't buy anything from Marcus Lemonis myself for what he stated a few years back, but I do like his decision to fly the Flag.

Some years ago right across the state line in Idaho there was a similar battle. A utility trailer manufacturer/dealer flies a large American flag and the local building code was “violated”.

“ Jen Fox had said that she understands the city’s perspective as it relates to flags and banners with logos and advertisements. She said, however, that an American flag is different and should be allowed.”
Exceptions should be made for out National Flag! Last time I was in this area there it was, Old Glory flying.

I think they should be absolutely allowed to fly the flag of course, but the ask for a permit/proof of correct installation of a flag pole of that size isn’t totally unreasonable. Especially if it’s close to their property line or apparently the freeway/highway. Those giant flags weigh a lot, and in storms, can put a LOT of leverage on a pole.
