Over 4 inches yesterday, 4 1/2 predicted today, another 4 and a quarter tomorrow, and not done for the week.
I know my SCUBA gear is around here somewhere!

Fingers crossed for all in the path of the storm and the massive amounts of rain I’m seeing forecast for the costal states.

This has been the worst summer I have seen in my Central Va. area. For last several months it is either 90+ and humid or Florida like with rain each afternoon or evening. Hard to get much done outside and trying to stay on top of cutting wet grass. Not much range time down at my place so far.

That's still quite a bit of rain. I would think we are at about the same amount in Newberry County.

Drier than a popcorn fart in my neck of the woods. Fire ban in the county and national forest. Supposed to get a shower maybe later this week.

We've had 8 inches in the last two days, and another 5 inches forecast in the next two.

Every year I marvel at the fact that one side of the nation is getting flooded while at the same time the other side is getting parched and burned up. I know it’s nature and uncontrollable but man if we could only balance it out. Hoping for the best for you folks back east.

Well, we're in the home stretch now. A little less than an inch forecast for today and tomorrow combined. Not seeing much about widespread flooding in the local news, there were some minor incidents reported. Keep in imind, downtown Charleston floods if someone leaves their sprinklers on a little too long.

While I would not want as much rain as you've been getting sure could use some rain, my creek's been either completely dry or just a trickle the last couple of weeks.

Well, I guess I spoke too soon. We had much more rain last night than expected, and there is some bad flooding in some areas nearby. They even closed a section of the interstate, and several state roads. I'm in good shape at my house.

Here in mid western SC we only got 10 1/4 inches.........I live on a hill.......No problem.........My Carolina Bay went from dry to 6 to 12 inches all over. I had a 25 ft x1 150 yd. food plot just coming up. Now it 6 in under water.......That's ok. If the water stays the ducks will come.

Yup, you guys got all the rain. Our ground is cracked and the grass crunches when we walk on some of it.

This was after a very wet spring that filled our pond to running out the overflow. We were supposed to get some rain last night, but mother nature was only funnin'.
Our pastures are lush because the guy who cuts and bales had a catastrophic failure with his tractor and can't get parts for months. Off brand that went out of business. This is hay season and other cutters are booked out for six to eight weeks. Hopefully he can cut the hay while it's still good.
We no longer need it, but would hate to see it wasted.

We had a couple days of steady rain here in the western part of the Capitol region of NY, but only a couple inches or so. Some pictures I've seen of areas nearby show that streams spilled their banks, or that ponds overflowed, but today is a bright, clear, sunshine day. I may give it one more day to dry before mowing though, ground is still kinds soft in some places.

We actually got rain today.
Okay, it sprinkled lightly for about three minutes, didn't even change the color of the sidewalk. It put wet freckles on it. But the walk was hot, and they evaporated in minutes.
But... Water fell from the sky and reached the ground, so technically, I guess, by definition... Sigh:
It did rain.
