I am thinking about making this one a build along. If there is enough interest, I'll post this in the knife forum with a series of start to finish pics as I go. It could go great, or I could crash and burn, but here is the layout sketch. Nice Blade Blank from the Jantz Supply in Davis, Oklahoma. There will be inlays of Copper, turquoise, and black walnut. I'll have to drill additional pin holes and make pins from nickel bar stock. Lot's of shaping, and I'll have to cut the turquoise from the AZ mine with the wet tile saw. (That's a mess.)

I like a challenge. If I crash and burn, I start over. I MAY tool the spine of the knife, I may not. Haven't decided yet. Tooling takes a lot of filing and takes it's toll on the arthritic hands, but the results are nice.

just as a heads-up though, I very well may have a ton of questions as you progress. Your work is very high level and I love picking the brain of people that know what to do (and what NOT to do)
And as a personal aside, I gravitate towards projects with a limited size and scope, meaning that following along with you building your knife is more interesting to me than a team of thousands building a skyscraper or a bridge or something like that. I find individual things more relatable.
