Lt Hunter, 10-42, End of Tour

Post by BrokenolMarine » Mon Jul 15, 2024 12:50 am

James B. Sikking, who was the rigid Howard Hunter of Hill Street Blues, passed away today, July 14th, due to complications from Dementia. HSBs was always a favorite and I bought the boxed set, and watched it, and rewatched it several times. Part of the fun of that show is seeing relatively unknown actors in small parts who later become stars.

Hunter was one of my favorites...
Well acted by Sikking who based him on a DI he knew from his time in service.

Rest in Peace LT.

You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.

I don't look back at the things I can no longer do, I just look forward to the things I still can.

I agree, a good actor in a great part. A favorite ensemble cast and a great show.

Capt. Frujillo, I'm really disappointed in you Norm.
Norm, I can live with that.

Do it to them before they do it to you.
Remember, it's not how many guns you have. It's how many bullets you have.
