Could be the hops or other ingredients and hope not the alcohol but my Coors Lite is causing me to develop itchy bumps during the summer.
So will try wine coolers as an evening relief drink. The wife's dementia is stressing to deal with and a nice drink in the evening helps me calm down.
Yesterday she was having stress trying to log on with our credit union to pay her share of bills. Well she got locked out after trying 54 times in one day!
I called and got it straightened out and we together went over all her upcoming bill pay. This morning she said she had to log on again to do her bills and I had to stress we had already done that. I am going to have to take it all over myself without getting her upset.

She has started her new meds which are supposed to slow down the advancing brain destruction WE HOPE! We both do not like this stage we are living in and right now no escape from it. Just tears me up seeing what is happening to her. Right now nothing ahead but misery and would go back in time in a heart beat!

My Mother in law had Alzheimer's and finally died of it. She was every bit a nice lady and treated me like one of her own.
Carol worries that it is hereditary and that she's going to get it so she keep working thinking that if she keeps her mind
active it will slow things down. Maybe it will, who knows.

I feel for you Forty as we watched her Mother deteriorate before out eyes. She once told me that she knew that she was
going down hill but was afraid to tell her own children because, in her own words, "They'd probably put me in the Hoosegow".
In the end her next to youngest son tried to keep her in his home but if she got out in the night she'd wander off and they'd
have to call the police to find her.

We finally found her a very nice care facility and she seemed happy there until the end.

It's heartbreaking but they are coming up with new treatments all the time, so have hope.

My thoughts are with you forty.

Thinking about you Forty. That is a very difficult thing to deal with. Hang in there and try to enjoy happy thoughts together.

Went thru that with my mom, so, I know where you're at forty. Hang in there and hope for the best. Prayers to you and your wife.

Best to you Forty and your wife. I have seen it progress many times when the wife owned an assisted living home. Its an evil disease. Prayers of strength for you and prayers of peace for your wife.

Good wishes sent to you both. Your poor wife suffering with this terrible condition and your suffering right along side of her in different ways.

Enjoy those wine coolers, you deserve to be rewarded even a simple reward like that.
