If God granted me an hour to visit with one of my ancestors, it would be my Dad.
I am what he made me.
Our oldest daughter texted me from Buffalo, NY before church and just now my favorite ex daughter in law
texted her love as well. Our youngest daughter and her family will be here in a couple of hours.
Contrast, for Mother's Day we attended and huge brunch. For Father's Day, brats on the deck.
I guess I like it that way.

I hear ya, mine has been gone for 40 yrs. this past April.
Hope all had a nice day, I did. All the little grandchildren were here.
Oldest granddaughter and the great grandson didn't make it.
RP
