The Pup did really well

Post by clovishound » Sat Jun 01, 2024 4:23 am

The Francis Beidler Forest, one of the places the Pup and I visit from time to time to take pictures had their 50th anniversary photo contest. The Pup entered 4 images in several different categories. She got a 1st place, 2nd place, and an honorable mention. Dad is properly proud.

Actually, there were three that won. I'll have to get them from her to post. I discovered this about 4:00 this morning while we were getting ready to drive to boneyard beach to be there when the sun came up. Just got back a little while ago. I'll ask her and try to post them later today.

OK, here they are:

2nd place, category: New Life

This is my favorite. 1st place, category: Worst Bird

This is a good one as well. Honorable Mention, entered in category: Flow. The judges didn't see flow in the picture, but liked it well enough to give it an honorable mention outside of a category and are thinking about creating a Macro category next year.

And here's a link to the contest, if anyone is interested.

The pup has a good eye. That bird looks like he wants her to get off his lawn.
