Wedding Anniversary

Post by HenryFan » Wed May 29, 2024 1:36 pm

My wife and I met on a blind date in December of 1967 and today, we have been married 53 years.

That is a testament to how patient Kay is. I think every "Aw Heck" moment in the marriage was due to my shortcomings and usually involved pickup trucks, boats, outboard motors or a firearms purchase.

When we married, I got much more than I deserved and she got much less than she deserved.

I count my blessings each and every day.

Congratulations! My wife and I celebrated our 53 anniversary on May 8. I'm still trying to figure out how my wife put up with me for all these years.

forty -

It seems to me she did all the hard work. I went with the flow, like a dead fish floating downstream.

She's a better person than I am, by far.

Ditto that. Ours was 50 couple months ago.

Congratulations!
Got to admire the commitment and dedication that you both share, actually that applies for all of you posters.
I didn't make it half that long.
