I totally support our vets. As a country we dont do enough for them

I went to the Memorial Service today at the Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Amelia, VA. It was a wonderful ceremony, but as BigAl said we don’t do enough for our veterans.

Yes, thank you to all vets and especially those who didn’t make it home. Their sacrifice is the reason I can sit in my chair and enjoy a forum such as this one discussing our lives and the firearms we enjoy.

I finally have some pictures of our group performing services.
We had over thirty folks in the group all in all. Some were Scouts who
went ahead and prepared the flags on the cemeteries, we had the Freedom Riders
riding ahead, the ladies Auxiliary doing a prayer and wreath laying, and of course
the VFW members with flags, addresses and the rifle squad.
We started at 8 AM and were done at 2 PM having done 13 services.

At our church. The rifle squad is down hill out of sight.

Also let me add that it rained most of the day but the crowds were there anyway.
We publish a schedule and try to keep on time. People applaud and thank us.
It means a lot to some folks.
