Bird Pictures

I took these pictures last fall and this summer.
The owl is a rare Northern Spotted Owl and only lives in old growth. The picture was taken inside Mount Rainier National Park at timberline. The tree might be small but it is very old.

Very nice. The owl is definitely checking you out. He blends in well too.

Great shots. We see mostly Red tails here and once in a blue moon an owl will show up.

He turned away right after I took this shot. I was quite a ways away and used a 42x zoom.
