And I thought Henry was the only one.

Seems like all the manufacturers are trying to see who can make the most ugliest and non-traditional levergun.
Ruger is introducing a new Trapper, and in tactical-cool.
Not my cup, but I'm sure the younger generation will be head over heels for it.

I hate the way the format here scrunches up the pics part of the time.

For those who don't know, you can right click on the image and choose "Open Image in New Tab". The image will display in proper aspect ratio in a separate tab. It will also display full sized images that are downsized for thread display.

Thanks for the info, but this particular laptop only has the one button.
No right and left like the old one I had.

Try pressing and holding the one button and see if it opens a window to allow you to open a new tab. I dont care for that either. Just make some leverguns in different calibers and quit with the tactical crap.

Thanks Al, doesn't work with one finger, but with two, it does.

Scrunched or not scrunched - that is one ugly rifle.

It seems that everyone is producing a lever action of some type or planning to. I'll stick to my Henry rifles. I do like the newer ones with the loading port, but don't have issue with the older styled ones either.

Not for me, but I can understand why manufacturers are going tactical on lever guns. Younger shooters love 'em. Allows them to go lever gun without getting called a fud. Truth is, I very rarely see young shooters shooting any wood and steel guns when we go to our local range. Can't remember the last time I saw a young shooter even shooting a revolver. Just the way it its, now.

I'm sure offerings such as that present the greatest opportunity for volume sales here in 2024. They're just not going to sell any to me.

To call it just "ugly" seems charitable to me.
