Is anyone in the path? I saw the last one in 2017 from the top of Mt Si near Seattle.

99.98% totality at my address. Could go west about 5 miles for 100%. Cloudy right now, supposed to clear up some this afternoon. Have to wait and see.

another NOPE .... we aren't anywhere near to the best viewing area .... I have no doubt that it will be well covered on TV and YouTube where I can watch

No here too. I've been so busy with work, I never got any glasses, lol. I'm not in the great of a path anyway and they say it could be cloudy here. Hope it's not though. I know a lot of young kids are anxious to see it.

I’ve seen two 100% eclipses in my life. You seen one you’ve seen them all.

If I was at camp, I'd be in the middle of the "zone". My sister in law went up to camp with some of her family.
I'll be in a pretty good partial area today. Whooppee. Like Gene said, they are all the same after the first.

75% max here. I saw the beginning of the 2017, but got some cloud cover in before totality. I haven't bothered to get any viewing glasses for this one, although it's supposed to be sunny all day.

At 23% I didn’t get any glasses but now I kinda wish I had done so.

Not me, but my girlfriend is all jacked up about all the "energy" that'll be moving and shifting across the earth today. Gotta "call in" all the things we want to happen.

23% here as well. I've seen two total in my lifetime. 1979 and 2017. In 1979 I was in college and in class at the time. That eclipse got nighttime dark. The one in 2017 dimmed a lot, stayed daylight but with the remaining light yellowish. The air also cooled off a lot.

Where I am in NY it is supposed to be 98.1% of total eclipse. Should start at 2:11 and end at 4:36, with peak being at 3:25.
Nobody around the area has glasses left, so I'll be making the pinhole camera and/or hodge-podging something to get a quick look.

I'm interested to see what the animals around the house do when it gets dark. Wonder if any nocturnal ones will pop out for a bit.

The eclipse is getting all the news but because of the eclipse a comet is visible and several planets are also lined up.

Buster and I setup my old telescope with the backside of a picture frame. Worked okay!

Well, it didn't matter that I never got any glasses, we had cloud cover all through it.

It’s totally overcast here. Not going to see Jack or even Jacqueline Poop.

I did get a glimpse of the eclipse here in Sugar Land. It was said to be 94%. I did get a picture with my phone but it's a bit hard to see

Well, if the moon is in the Seventh House and Jupiter is aligned with Mars, we must be headed into a new Age of Aquarius. That's my astrological sign, so I guess I'll take it.
