I have visited the tomb many times and taken hometown visitors to it as well.
I lived out there for almost twenty years. A little know fact is that on Memorial Day
the President delivers an address in the ampi theatre behind the tomb and the public
is invited although it's not advertised. In 1983 I took some unsuspecting family there
and they were thrilled when Raegan walked out and gave a nice address.
I always get a tear or two being a vet myself.

I was never able to get there when I lived in VA, though the Tomb and 8th and I were on my bucket list. I did make it to The Wall and the National Museum of the Marine Corps.

Congrats on his accomplishments, I have read a lot about the Old Guard. Much Respect.
