They must have shipped it almost immediately and paid for overnight shipping or maybe got a discount from UPS as it's likely a UPS employee somewhere along the line made the switch. Still impressive on Crosman's part.

I just received a text message I need to confirm my street address to the USPS (they provided a link) for a package to be delivered. I suspect it’s fraud and will ignore it.

I am getting similar messages almost daily. Along with “your bank card ending in xxxx has been locked. Please enter your account details at this link to unlock it”. Yeah, no.

It's also possible it was an honest mistake. They had a damaged package without contents and found an item nearby that looked like it belonged to that package. If they were just going to steal the Crosman, no real need to do a swap out.
