Got this little project finished up this morning and took it for a run around the yard to see if everything stayed in place. I put in place on the rack
snap hooks to hold my scabbard for either the 20 gauge Shockwave or the 45 Colt Ranch Hand. Also you can load up a carbine and it will fit between the rack and plastic tote nice and snug with carbine bag straps hooked into the snap hook. A fold up shovel hangs on the other side and will be a handy tool to have on the trail. Was able to fit the cooler and my battery powered chainsaw in the tote with some room left. To remove the tote you just pull 2 pins and it slides off.
So during the summer I can hook up my push mower to the hitch what I have been doing for couple years and cut grass then unhook that and down to the creek for some 22 plinking and relaxing or to do some work down along the trail or the creek.
About 50 bucks tied up in the whole project!
