next up for the Cup drivers is the Talladega Superspeedway --- SUNDAY, APRIL 21 2024 3:00 PM --- this race will be the 110th race hosted by Talladega Superspeedway in Cup Series history

SVG will start the Xfinty race from 18th and cup race from 17th.
Given the way he is learning tracks and his race pace improves with every lap during races top 10 is a possibility in both.
Quite impressive pace given its the first time he has raced at Talladega and his career super speedway racing experience amounts to about 1 start.

In supercars news Cam Waters qualified on pole for yesterdays race In NZ, got taken out 50y after the start flag dropped. Can see him getting more frustrated in supercars and maybe making a full time switch. Similar result at the Aus grand prix, in the mix for a win and got put into the wall.

Overtime restart SVG in 4th and out of gas, another wreck and another restart.
First 6 cars all 47laps since last stop.

Win for Jesse Love no idea how he managed to save enough fuel to go 57laps and then still had enough for post win burnouts. SVG ran dry on lap 47.
Deegan took the last overtime restart in 4th but made some less than ideal decisions on which line to go with and where to block finishing 12th.
