Looked around for the usual carry baskets at the door where there was none. They stopped using them since thugs load up and walk out the door.
Lord save us from more insanity!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Of course I walked out after a good word or two and bought it someplace else for 60 bucks !

I guess I never thought thugs would steal auto parts...they would just steal the whole damn car!

I don't blame the store. Not sure how I would deal with rampant theft, if I were a store owner. It is a shame the honest customers are the ones to suffer.

Forty, I'm glad you said whatever you said and went elsewhere. Perhaps the manager or district or corporate will hear about it. The consumer still makes them the profit these places are there for, or they would close.
Good for you sir.

Our local Lowes now has their bulk copper wire locked up. Thieves don't sell it to recyclers, I guess there's enough dishonest electricians out there that there's now a black market for usable new wire.
Cops won't even arrest shoplifters and thieves unless the value of the items is over $1000. Then they probably get plea deal from the DA.
Just last week a guy that killed a local 17 year old girl got out after serving 11 years of a 14 year plea deal. She was struck on the head, strangled and stabbed.
They had his DNA on a piece of duct tape found near the body, her DNA on blood in his apartment and 2 witnesses saw someone matching his description walking down the road where her car had been abandoned. He was initially offered a plea deal of 7 years. There's definitely something wrong with our criminal system.
