Any of my PA forum friends ever buy from Cove Creek Outfitters in Bedford? Thinking about ordering a shotgun from them. Thanks for any input!

I have bought one rifle from them because it had exceptional wood. They sell high end rifles and shotguns that many of us in this area cannot afford. They also do sell some lower priced guns but are still more than other LGS. I bought a rifle from them which was not high end and over paid what my other LGS sell them for because of the wood. Every thing in their place I can buy the same items for less money and not drive any farther from home. The ammo and reloading components are very high also. To me they are like a certain dealer in Md. that caters to and depends on the high rollers from Northern Va. and in the areas near D.C where they make more money than any where in the country and don't price shop because they don't have to. Not trying to change your mind but that is my experience with the shop you named and I don't go in there any more. There is a shop in Somerset Co. that blows them away on prices and does far more business because he prices his items low and sells volume to make more money in the long run. Hope I didn't offend you in my answer to your question but you did ask if any one had bought there.

Nice link, thanks. Looks like quality firearms, I like the 28" 12 gau shotgun!

I haven't had the chance to visit since I live in Southern California. I grew up in Western PA so the chance to help out a PA retailer appeals to me.
Bandit points out that they typically have higher-end firearms and I'm sure their prices aren't the best on everything.
What I have found, however, is they have a tremendous price on the exact shotgun I'm looking for (Beretta 12ga 686 Silver Pigeon 1 Sportin 30"). On gunbroker they are listing this firearm at $1,879 which is well under what I can pick it up for locally (around $2,150). Even after shipping and transfer fees I will be well under the local price. And I get to help out a small PA store....
