48th Anniversary today and this evening I was going thru some old pictures. This one I liked....old oak shade tree....a great woman....and an ice cold brew.....all you really need! Think it was late 70's or 1980.

It's funny..... Once, I was being "screened" for some Life insurance. In the "question asking" portion of the ordeal, I was asked "How long have you been married?" At that time, it was around 37 years or so (we're at 43+ now!). When I told the sales guy "37 years", he stopped and acted like he'd been gutshot. He said that he almost never screens people that have been married that long, and that it was "sorta unsual" for folks to stay married that long. So evidentally, both our marriages have beaten the statistical odds.
