Two gun shows Saturday

I went to two gun shows Saturday and both were not that good. Low turn out and high prices on guns and ammo. There is just so much stuff there anymore not related to fire arms. I know they have to sell tables but it says gun and knife show and that is what it should have. Jewelry and women's hand bags and candy and cookies need to have their own shows. After a lot of looking at the second show I did find some thing to buy. I found a bi-pod for a price so good I figured it would be a China copy of a Harris. Turned out to be a Harris. I also got a set of Redfield rings to fit Weaver style bases. I "stole" the Harris bi-pod for $15 and paid $7 for the rings which would be about half price in a shop so it wasn't a total waste of time. I plan on taking the bi-pod apart and making solid aluminum legs for it with notches in them every 1/2 or 3/4" so it will work better on uneven ground. I did one of my short ones and it is a lot better than the wide spaced notches from the factory.
