It has peeked my interest but I don't even want to access a site with wormgpt in the address.

Whom ever creates this stuff is way smarter than the average Joe but can't seem to know how to earn a buck the normal way.
I don't understand any of it.

You ok with Wikipedia? If so, they have a pretty good rundown about all this that gives the developmental history, and more going back for the last 5 years or so. It may help you and others understand what we're looking at a couple years from now. The media tends to skip over this, which leads to a great deal of misunderstanding.
