Fun Father's Day lunch........

Post by fortyshooter » Sun Jun 18, 2023 6:31 pm

My son took us up to a new indoor kart track called K1 and the karts are electric and run on a nice road race type track. Rated at 45 MPH these things have great accel and braking. We had a great time racing and had camera mounted on the helmets to be able to share the action. When they start you off it is at a slow roll then they electronicaly bump up to half speed to see if you can drive and then they give you full power as you use your accel pedal. They sound like little Indy cars! Nice snack and beverage bar to relax and watch the action too. We enjoyed a great time!
Here is my son's camera action as I start in front of him. Some guy would try to hit him to spin him out but Chad took care of it in next turn as you hear the dude hit the guard rail  https://vt3.io/?code=QKRGM9SYDE :D
