40 heading to 66 with sunshine in the forecast. Didn’t see the sun yesterday as promised in fact we had some occasional sprinkles all day. Still was a good day to get out and do stuff as it wasn’t the dark gloomy cold days we have had the rest of this week.

Today I’m taking my trailer to my son’s house as he rebuilt his deck and the old lumber needs to be hauled to the dump. Then I understand we’re picking up some gravel to fill in some bare spots created by the rebuild. Huh, how did that happen?

WSU Cougars don’t kick off until 4:30 and the Eastern Washington Eagles kick at 11:30 but no TV coverage for the Eags. So it’s radio time while shoveling gravel. :(

It’s like a national holiday in Dacotah today, opening day of pheasant season. Sunny with a high of 64, looks like a good day to go walk some fields. Got the Montefeltro out and packed up my gear, out the door. Everybody have a great day!

We live on a very good waterfowl hunting lake and, tis the season. Shotgun alarm clock every morning,
especially on the week ends. In my younger days I would be out there among them enjoying the hunt.

I'm almost 81 now and sitting in a wet boat at dawn shivering is no longer my thing. We buy our meat
at the super market or from a farmer friend.👌

I do however enjoy seeing others have a good time hunting, but I do it with my Folgers and cookies
from my nice warm house.😁

Right now it's 68° (Yeah!). I don't know how cool it was this morning at 6:30 when I took the dogs walking but it was probably low 60's at least. It's a bit windy today also. Cooked some bacon, eggs, toast and coffee for breakfast.

First ya feel the cool of fall in the early morning...makes one thankful for a warm house...(and some hot coffee.)...all the lunacy out in the world shows us that even those simple things are not guaranteed... so I enjoy and am thankful for my warm little house and my hot coffee every day I got um. A good day to all out there.
