Here’s Trey sporting his new PFD. (Yeah I know, a dog with webbed feet for swimming wearing a life jacket…no comment since Mrs. hatchdog might be looking over my shoulder)
That is one lucky dog. We adopted a 95 lb black lab about twenty years ago, (she's no long with us :( ), and
The man from the SPCA called inquiring about her I told him, "She's asleep at my feet, she'd got ten acres of woods and a lake
to play in and I'd say she was pretty happy." He agreed.

Beautiful Dog Hatch. 61 here this am. Gotta attend a funeral today. Wife of the owner of the company that I worked for for 34 years passed away at the young age of 97. They were very good to me. Only in the mid 80's today. Not much else going on.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Morning slept in a little this morn, already up to 81, and headed towards 90°.
The grandsons and I are going to get our ears lowered shorty. Then I have no idea what else.

77F with 52% humidity, going into the low 80s today.
Coffee is in the Smith and Wesson mug today.
The cherry tree is going to need picking today. I got a few pounds yesterday and will get a few more before the birds get more.
I may weed a garden today. I picked up a Fiskars adjustable handled weeder last week. (Anyone remember the garden weasel?) It works very well and was a good pick up so far. Probably need to go get diesel and gasoline for the equipment as well.
I hope your day is good.

70F and 74% RH. This is one of those days I turn the AC on just to lower the humidity inside. Folgers in my Henry cup and breakfast at the Hill Of Beans with three of the neighbors.

Gene, it looks like you're fitting right in there among the cheese heads. Don't get me wrong, they're
good folks, country, just like where we live.

A week ago a neighbor who is 97 told me to call her mommy like most of the people. Her son who is about my age told me to call her mummy just like he does.

Trying a cup of green tea with honey in it... stomach just about normal now that its been a month since I quit coffee(😵😭) not sure yet if that was the problem or what... cautiously edging back toward the good stuff.. I remember when my dad was old and him telling me fairly often (as he stuck a soft peppermint in his mouth) that he "had the sour stomach" I didn't know what he was complaining about then... now I understand better... getting older....a new trail to learn to navigate for sure...🥴

Cool snap. Only 90 degrees yesterday and again today. Have gotten 1/2” of rain last two days.
