Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
another beautiful but busy morning in central NC .... 57 that is supposed to rise quickly to 86 later today .... had to take our 6 year old grandson to school .... on the way back we hauled our trash to the local waste collection site, then stop by our favorite roadside farm market for strawberries and tomatoes .... shortly after leaving there for home we learned our daughter's car overheated on her way to work .... got home and arranged to have it towed from her work to a local repair shop .... now back home, one more cup of Folgers and I plan to start working on our camper to get it ready to spend the weekend with our camping club

Mine were 8 months old when I bought them.cooperhawk wrote: ↑Wed May 18, 2022 9:26 amI'm not sure yet which organ I have to donate, but it will hurt.
In and around Nashville, Tn. we experienced some horrendous potholes in March. In fact they did structural damage
to the motor home which I am having repaired now. Then traveling south on the Interstate at 70mph I blew out the
left front tire. OK, probably damaged from the pot holes. In 2014 I had replaced all the tires with Yokohamas which I
got through a dealer who deals only with trucking companies. He said they were new. We pulled them off last week
and the date of manufacture was 2010. They were four years old and had sat in storage for that time before I bought'
them.
I checked the manufacture date on the Firestones and it's April 2022.

Fair 57°F 14°C
Humidity 72%
Wind Speed S 5 mph
Supposed to be a nice day with a chance of rain this afternoon.
Folgers and cookies.
Well, I guess the lawn needs mowing for the first time of the year.
This time of year is always busy.
Carol is slowly improving, but is really tired a lot of the time. It's really different
to see this very energetic person slowly working her way through this, but she's tough
and very very determined.
I overheard a conversation she was having with the telephone provider for her office yesterday.
I think she has lost a little patience with them. I'll bet his ears are still burning.
She's probably not ready for work yet.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
40 heading to 57 with overcast but I can see some glimpses of blue sky to the southwest which is where our weather mostly comes from. Today is supposed to be somewhat decent temperature and rain wise but still pretty windy. Yesterday we had gusts in excess of 40 mph. I’ll take a walk later to check for trees uprooted but I don’t expect to see any.
Today we were supposed to leave for Salt Lake City (cancelled the trip) and that would have required me to cross the Rocky Mountains twice just today. The local weatherman showed today the Rocky’s were getting snow including both passes I would have crossed pulling a 7500 lb trailer. I’m thinking sitting in my recliner will be more pleasant than that drive would have been today.

Currently 80° just before 9:00 a.m. Sunny and hot today. It's a good day to stay inside under the AC. Cooked bacon, eggs, toast and coffee for breakfast. Not sure if I'll do any work today or not. Yesterday was pretty hectic.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
I'm back from my unexpected trip to Northern California, and glad to be back in Tennessee. I hope to never have to fly on a commercial airline again. What a nightmare.
70° here, and it's supposed to rain. Breakfast and coffee are over. Got the yard mowed yesterday along with some string trimming. I've still got a few things to do after being away for 2 weeks. Cheers!

Im feeling better today and each day that passes. Ive been off the bike for three weeks and I know its going to be some work to get back to where I was after being sick.
