The high temp in Clearwater Fl. today was an unbelievable 72 degrees. That made the cleanup of the storm debris almost pleasant.
Sounds like a great day. I have friends in Sarasota, and they had minimal damage to their foliage. Luckily for you it went in farther south. I feel for those other folks though. I've been through enough hurricane cleaning in my lifetime and don't really want to do it again.

It was a cool 59° this morning south of the Bayou City! It felt amazing! I cooked up some eggs, bacon, toast and coffee for breakfast. I've got an errand to the post office to drop off a package and then to a school in Houston where a former student works. I'm going to donate some instruments to his band program. They don't get a budget for band. Any money he gets has to be fund raised.

T-shirt weather here for the day and then a coat at night. I’m going to mow the lawn for hopefully the last time this season and then shoot the H&R Sportsman

Well, I'm back from my last test for the VA. I had urine, blood and an X-Ray this morning.
Yesterday was audio and the day before was a physical. I'm not sure what this is all about
but the VA Rep called me in and said to get it done as some things have changed.
Finally I could get something to eat! I went up the street to Arby's and had a beef and cheddar, with
fries and a chocolate milk shake. It was really good after fasting.
On of Carol's sisters and her hubby left this morning after a two day visit. It was fun.
Another is in Esteros, Fl. and we finally got word that they're OK but have a lot of debris to
clean up and there is no water flowing from the taps. At least they're OK. We visited them
in March.

Stay safe ya all. :D

Mostly Cloudy 52°F 11°C
Humidity 77%
Wind Speed Calm
Barometer 30.24 in
Companies gone and back to our routine.
Black Rifle and leftover chocolate pie. :D
Shop work.
Now I just wait and see why the VA called me in. The CVA Rep said things have changed
and I could see an increase. Not holding my breath.

48 now and haven’t heard the forecast yet but last I heard it supposed to be in the 70’s and sunny today. Planning unloading from yesterday’s grouse hunt and loading up for tomorrows trip back up to mow and clean up. We’re going to spend several days up at our property next week and it needs some love first.

Had a great time yesterday but only saw one grouse which was out of range for my 410 Henry. Took a shot anyway and afterwards I paced it off and it was 45 yards or so.

Ian has come (with a vengeance) and gone .... he will most certainly be remembered .... no sign of Duke Power trucks so we are setup in our camper .... only plans for today include keeping our generators running to supply power to frigs, freezers, and other critical appliances .... after hours of howling winds, its spooky still right now

Glad things are ok there Jim. Out here yesterday was just overcast and breezy with intermittent rain. So sorry for those that did not fare as well.

Likewise, glad everyone is safe Jim. It was pleasant 57° this morning while walking the dogs. Right now it's 68° and should be in the mid 80's today.
I cooked eggs, bacon, toast and coffee for breakfast. I'm taking the general to the airport (IAH) this morning as he's got an event to attend in KY. I think Houston is one of the few cities that you can drive 45 miles one way and still be in the city limits.

Sure am glad you're OK. I have many relatives and friends who I have not heard from in both
Florida and the Carolinas. I trust they are OK, just busy. Time will tell.
Stay safe.
