Northern Lights

Post by Sir Henry » Thu Mar 23, 2023 11:24 pm

The northern lights are really active tonight and it’s crystal clear out. I just put my snowshoes on and climbed the hill up behind my shooting berm.

Seems like that would be a nice sight to see!

Gene, I know you spend time in Alaska. How’s the northern lights compare in Wisconsin to Alaska? I’ve watched them many times when I lived in Alaska.

Saw on the local news that they were pretty prevalent around here too. Surprised as it was cloudy when I went to bed.

Sorry Redthies, I didn’t know they were expected or I would have reached out.

My brother in Casper, Wyoming sent me some pictures from two nights ago. I had seen them on a few occasions in Wyoming, but here in central Arizona, nuthin. Maybe they will still be visible when we head home in a couple of weeks, but I doubt it.
