How high is that ladder?
To where my partner is standing is about 30 feet.
The peak of that gable is probably 37 ft. give or take a few inches. ;)

It’s not the fall that hurts, it’s the stop. It surely doesn’t have to be that high. I know from experience. My theme song is “Walk this way”. I haven’t walked right for 40 years, but I’m blessed to still be able to do so. As already stated,BE SAFE.

Yes, when I was 23 I'd stand on the very top rung of a 14 foot orchard ladder with a half full cherry picking bucket, now at 70 that photo looks pretty scary. I could probably do it if I had to but I wouldn't be comfortable.

I’m glad there’s still folks that can do it. All I can say is be careful. My deer stand has shrunk from 15’ down to about head high.

Looking from the ground up my stomach got queasy. Looking from the top down I thought I was going to puke on my keyboard.

I have alway had an issue with heights, even just looking at pics.
