Anyone ever do business with Old Fat Guy Belts? I'm in the market for a new handgun belt and he has some wide ones (1 3/4" and up) for reasonable prices, but I don't know about the quality of his stuff.

Belt arrived today.
Gotta tell y'all this is one magnificent gun belt!
Definitely capable of open carry of a .50AE Desert Eagle, if I had one. Maybe next year

.
A full 2"wide x 5/16" thick double layer bonded and stitched with no ragged edges. Should go well with the drop loop holster I have on order for my S&W. Gonna take some serious breaking in tho.

Looks stout enough for holster. I gave up buying belts at retail stores as they are not good quality.

I have a nice double layer gun belt but usually wear one of my "Nexbelt" EDC ratchet belts. ¼" adjustments and easy to adjust. I have both a leather/nylon belt and an all nylon belt and both are stiff enough for my PX4 compact which is not a light gun. I don't often carry my M9 but they are OK with it also.

This isn't for EDC or to hold my pants up.

I have normal belts for that. This is for a woods rig and will be worn in addition to, and outside of, a regular belt, just like a cowboy rig.
