A little grip work today.......

Well I wanted a different look on the grips for my .44 Belly Gun so over the course of a couple days I stripped the factory clear off the grips.
Then applied three coats of Danish oil finish followed with couple coats of carnauba wax. Also removed the clear off of the brass grip frame and came back with a satin brushed finish. This to be a "working" gun and I think the look came out well.
That badge a little hint of what is going on with my project on the side lot.
That round in the middle is a Matt's 250 gr. full wadcutter .44 Special
that I will be testing out soon with 5 gr. Red Dot. Good little round for a short barrel blaster!
