Post by bandit1250 » Mon Oct 03, 2016 5:30 pm

I was listening to some old songs on the internet today and found this one. Not the original by Gogi Grant but I like this version to. give a listen if you have time.

A terrific version by her and the video was interesting also. I like just about every song she ever sang, I can listen to her all night long. She left us too soon on March 5, 1963 at the age of 30. I remember it well.

Nice! There are times when I enjoy watching the music video more than just the radio!

The word 'legend' gets bandied around a lot these days, and usually it's aimed at somebody who falls far short of the expectation, but in the case of Patsy, it doesn't go far enough. Thanks for sharing that. I really enjoyed some of the old historical photographs, too.

The USA and my own South Africa share a similar history in a lot of ways, and the people who settled the land were not ordinary people. They were giants, and their legacy will live for ever.
