Christmas starts earlier and earlier around here!

Post by fortyshooter » Wed Nov 02, 2022 7:09 pm

Some folks in the neighborhood really pushing it this year. Several have their Christmas lights up and on tonight and young couple across the street got the tree up and lit too with the Halloween yard deco still up! Think I will put Easter bunny up Christmas day!

We might get a couple of inches Sunday and some more through out next week. Fall almost skipped us this year, last week we had highs in the mid 70's, next week our highs are predicted to be in the mid 30's.

Yesterday the high was 72 and the low around 49. Next week the high will be 34 and the low 24 with the possibility of snow.

Yep, been watching our local weather radar map which includes your area. I’ve been seeing a lot of blue above you and wondering if you were getting a bunch of snow. Suspicion confirmed.

Yep. Guy down the way put up Christmas lights and decorations up yesterday. I'll wait for Thanksgiving to pass, then maybe I'll start.
Too early now tho.

We likewise usually wait until after Thanksgiving. But this year I have a new type of light string to try. Hopefully squirrel resistant. So these might go up earlier.

Another snowfall warning issued tonight, another foot coming. Next week temps down in the teens. Flintlock makes big smoke in the cold weather... :)
