I think I’ve already set a neighborhood record.

The last of the trick or treaters. 15 was the final count.

We had none, but that's not unusual.
Been here 15+ yrs., and Only a handful in all that time.
Looks like Cowboy/cowgirl was popular.

We had more than I thought we would last night. I didn't think to take pictures of all the goblins. I think we had 40-50 or so. We ran out of candy so turned the lights off.

We don’t get any trick or treaters here at home so we went into Deer Park to my wife’s cousin’s place. They live in a nice neighborhood with blocks and blocks of newer homes and the trick or treaters come in droves. We sat on the front porch enjoying a few adult beverages and the kids didn’t stop coming. Saw some very creative costumes some homemade. Thought that was a lost art.
Best of the night was a group of kids came up on the porch and said, “trick or cow” ?????? My wife’s cousin said “cow?” And one of the kids shouted out, “she said cow”. Next we knew a huge cow costume came up and got candy but also gave us a baggie of milk. That was classic.
Here’s a pic of out hosts Pug in his costume. He was on the porch with us and the kids got a kick out of him.

That is how the Nelson girls dress everyday. I see them riding horses all the time. They live on a cattle ranch. Mostly milk cows but some beef and of course horses.

You had a nice turn out Gene. You had 15 more than I did. Taking their photographs is a neat idea.
I didn't expect any and wasn't disappointed.

I received 15 more than the total of the last ten years. I bet I get even more next year. My backyard should be completed and I should be able to have a fire and maybe some games. This year it was still in the 50’s at trick or treaters time. It would have been the perfect party weather. They say some years it can be cold with snow and wind.
I may print the pictures and put them on a display for next year. Maybe do it every year so it becomes a tradition.

Great idea! You'll be the hit of the neighborhood.
