This is a game camera pic., not mine of course as we have no elk.
But see if you can find the cougar stalking the elk.

I found the cat pretty quick...

I have a hard time seeing it even with it circled. Probably because of the lens used to take the photo the cougar is a lot farther away than it appears to be so it looks a lot smaller than you would expect.

I found it but I did have to blow it up.

Found it! I'm in the picture. See if you can find me. I am in plain veiw.

OP, have you ever wondered how many times you have walked by a cat without knowing it was there.

Well according to our wildlife association TWRA, we don't have any big cats. in the area.
Had a pic. on a game camera of my own last year with what looked like a cougar.
We do have a few bobcats, but they are mostly nocturnal.
Even though I spotted two on the road right down from the house last year.
They are the only 2 I have ever seen in the wild.

But I have walked right by a deer or two that were just a few feet away.
Once you stop they usually bolt away.

I think I may have posted this photo before but no problem seeing the cougar/s in it. Taken about 20 miles south of me after a guy that had lost a couple of cows to them set up a trail camera. Never heard any further details.
