[img][/img]I saved all the boxes to all my rifles. I got rid of all but the Henry boxes when I moved. Moma said clean it up and this is all that's left. A classic Henry symbol and the first Henry end label I bought. A Golden Boy.

I will like these for a long time.

I like the frames, Dave. Very cool idea. I've kept my Henry boxes (just cuz), but may eventually do that with mine, too. Thanks for the inspiration.

I'd like my ashes in a Henry box one day, but my wife wants to use me to fill some potholes in the driveway.

I keep ALL gun boxes, if you ever NEED to sell one, it can add value if you have box and papers !!

That's why I was keeping them. I only have a handfull of handgun boxes that don't take up as much room. I haven't sold a gun in a long time.

I used to keep the cardboard boxes for a time frame but I quit doing that. I did this back east and a bit out here in Montana.

I or we keep the instruction book until the firearm gets sold or gifted.

Soft cases and hard cases (Classic wood ones like Smith and Wesson had or hard plastic - Ruger and Glock.) are or were kept until the firearm got sold or gifted.

My husband does have a few 'extra' rifle cases but all of the other 'gear' has been sold or gifted.

Some people will pay more if they get the original cardboard box depending on the 'firearm' and some of them will not. It depends on the individual. That is what I have seen back east and out here.

Some people pay more for popular, rare or not so rare things and some STUFF in general if they have the original boxes. Everything from a to z and it depends on the market, location and interest for some things. Not just in guns or knives but in many other things.
