Packers and Brewers

Post by Sir Henry » Fri Aug 12, 2022 8:17 pm

I said I was going to boycott the Brewers because they took the Seattle Pilots back in 1969 and the Packers because I have issues with the NFL. The problem is I love football and baseball. Iโ€™ve been listening to the Brewers on the radio and just turned the first preseason Packers game on.

What can I say? There are worse addictions to have.

I watched the Packers loose to the 49ers last night. Today Iโ€™ll be listening to Bob Uecker announce the Brewers on the radio.

Yesterday I ordered a Packers hoodie and have been looking for the right Brewers t-shirt or hat. Iโ€™m also trying to find a Seattle Pilots shirt or hat so I can wear it to a Brewers game.

I'll have to wait another week for college football to start. Roll Tide!

Loosing Wilson has to hurt.

I grew up a WSU Cougar and when I moved to Seattle I remained one. Not popular in Husky territory.

It was years in the making, but I don't watch sports. I couldn't tell you who is in the SuperBowl or the World Series in any given year. Working varying shift work for a long time made it hard to follow anyone. I lost interest and have other things I enjoy a lot more.

I hope you enjoy your games Gene, there are far worse addictions for sure.

Go Cougs!

Another partial rebuild with the coaching change.
