Couple of days ago this nice sized bull moose was wandering around behind my house. I got a great view of him but by the time I got my phone and went outside to take pics he had moved into the trees. I circled him in these pics to help pick him out for those looking on a small screen. I waited him out for a better pic but of course he went the other direction. Still fun to watch tho…

Way cool! I’ve had lots of animals in my yard both here in Wisconsin and back in Washington but never a moose.

My neighbor send me this pic yesterday. He’s a big boy for our small species of Moose here in Eastern Washington.

I've never seen one but they have been seen very close to town several times over the years.

Over here in Eastern Washington they are everywhere. I’ve had days deer hunting when I’ve seen more Moose than deer. Way back in the day Washington used to issue three moose permits only for the entire state. Now it’s over 100 permits annually. In 2012 I drew a once in a lifetime any moose permit here locally and scored a decent but not huge bull. Moose meat is as wonderful as advertised.
