We lost Dad
We lost Dad
We lost Dad, he was 87 and a true old school gentleman who's word and handshake was ironclad..his service was Saturday...We sold the house in Yelm, Washington it closed May 4th. We planned on being in the Tennessee area by now but of course we're with family telling dad stories. We're at my brothers property on the Washington coast living in our travel trailer with non stop rain. We roll out this Friday on our journey east.. Been a hectic month

Re: We lost Dad
Sorry to hear about the loss of your father. My Dad passed away back in 1995 at age 85 and still miss him working in his wood shop or in the garden.

Re: We lost Dad
Even into his late 80’s my dad would still ask me if I changed my oil lately or tell me to put my winter tires on. I’ve only been driving for decades….Still makes me smile to think of it. You will eventually smile when you think about your dad too.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......
