Can I bring some s’mores?

I told my friend who will be in charge of my final wishes to make sure they give her the gold from my crowns either before or after they cremate me, I probably have at least $500 worth of gold in my mouth. Have to wonder how often it just becomes a bonus for the cremator or embalmer. :o

When my Mother had her teeth removed for dentures they gave me the gold. It turns out dental gold is'
not worth as much as pure gold. My guess is they alloy it with other metals.

Anyway, after she passed I sold it. It was kinda creepy keeping it around.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

I sold one a few years ago and think I got around $60, I believe it was around 14 caret. I have a couple of recently replaced ones I need to take over to the pawn shop. From what I see online a 14 caret molar at today's gold price could be worth as much as $100. All eight of my molars and one pre-molar are gold so they should be worth a decent amount.

I hate to think how much I have spent on my teeth over the years, I have one tooth that had 2 crowns and then had to have a implant and crown that alone cost over $4000 (ins. paid ½) . I'm afraid that one of the two crowns I recently had replaced is going to need a root canal so my share of those 2 crowns and the root canal will be over $1500. I've had a couple of people tell me dentures are a very poor replacement for real teeth so I guess it's worth it.

we just passed a million deaths from this in US. Not a joke and not gone. Genetic variants are rapidly forming. This is worst case but thinking this is with us for the long term.

Carol was still pretty sick last night but she was up and around anyway. Whatever she has, it's nasty.

It depends, my teeth had worn down to the point that food got stuck between them and was painful. I finally had them removed
last year and got implants and plates. I can now eat anything I want and am much happier, but yes, if my teeth were not worn down like that, it would be better. Old age does that to you.

So Carol slept in this morning, which I think right now is a good thing.
We did find out that it is indeed Covid but not as severe as some folks have had it. She says she's feeling better and is
at her computer practicing law in her night gown. I hope she doesn't overdo, but that is her nature.
She and my Grandson have had no contact for months so I'm pretty sure she didn't get it from him. In fact we
haven't been in contact with anyone for quite a while, so I am at a loss as to where she got it.
I'm just hoping that I don't get it.

Well, there was that Mother's Day Brunch last Sunday which our daughter and her family joined us at, but no one
else was sick, so...........
