Necessary Defensive Gun Use. A recent example to learn from.

This one was in a Paraguay gun shop last month. 2 bad guys come in armed and shooting. 1 leaves. Some fast action in the video at the link. From start to finish 19 seconds.

Don't know anything about the owner/clerk, but from his actions I'd bet he had some serious training and/or experience. Moving from your original position to a different one (in case there was a 3rd bg outside, or the one who left returned) as soon as the situation allowed is not something the avg. gun owner who only punches paper on the square range would think about doing. That shows some trade craft.

Here's another pawn shop robbery, if you watch closely at just before the first robber pulls his second gun you see a small black object appear at his feet. Have never seen a mention of this but I think he accidentally pushed his mag release which is why he had to take the time to draw another gun.

Second video is sad in that 2 church goers were killed but it could have been worse but for the one guy who made an excellent shot. Kind of surprised by how many of the congregation members were carrying but maybe not since it was in Texas.

Yes, they're both several years old. There are some of the church shooting that were edited for TV news so are not restricted.

I normally try to catch recent ones, simply to see how other folks handle themselves - well or poorly - to help keep my skills up. Hard to do at 77, and I doubt I could perform as well as the guy in Paraguay these days. But still, any learnin' is good learnin'. (HT to BTO)
