Made with scrap lumber from Port of Tacoma...This will haul the important stuff, the rear panel secures with screws after it's loaded.. I used this same trailer when I came out west from Alabama 17 years ago, got it at auction in Georgia for $400 brand new..all furniture and excess junk went to landfill and goodwill... U-Haul is crazy expensive JEESH

Better get it insured as repairing the body/woodwork will be expensive!

Ain't nothing RedNeck about that. Compared to some of the trailers I saw in Georgia, when I lived there, that's a class act.

Looks nice! I suspect that you anchored it to the trailer. Are you thinking temporary use?

Looks good to me. Wanna wish you the best on the move to Tenn. Thats some nice country over. Been there a few times. What part of Tenn will you be in?

We just came back from our trip and we traveled I40 from Ashville, NC to Nashville, Tn, and then north to home. I assume you're
talking about the Smokies? That is beautiful country for sure, but driving a 36 foot RV and towing a car through there got
kinda busy for me. I'd like to go back and spend some time exploring the area though. Looks like there's a lot to see.

Oldbrass, after you talked about moving to Tennessee I took a look at the state particularly the climate. I agree with you, eastern Tennessee looks pretty nice other than the humidity.

It's very nice area, some of the nicest motorcycle rides ever.

The humidity is a bit high some,
I'll take the heat and some humidity any day over that freezing Cold.
There are some Good scooter riding areas over on that side of the state.

We moved from VA to OK and had to rent two 26' U hauls, plus drove one of our trucks pulling the double kayak trailer. It was far from cheap, but still cheaper than paying pro movers. WAY cheaper. Those quotes nearly sent me into cardiac arrest. The sad part was the horror stories we kept reading about "extra" fees at the end of the moves, missing/stolen/damaged items... and delays in delivery.

Good for you in being able to handle your move. Nothing wrong with that.

Yeah, it’s all about what we are used to. I’ve lived in the north all my life and cold is just a matter of fact for me. But several years ago I made a trip to Maryland/DC and the humidity was considerable to me. Made another trip to NC (western) and had the same experience. Both trips in May.

I lived in Northern Virginia for almost twenty years. Now I live in Minnesota.
In Virginia July and August were stay inside weather for most due to the heat, humidity, and pollen.
Then a couple of months of cool weather in the Winter. So, four months or so when it was not so nice.
In Minnesota most of the Spring, Summer, and Fall are nice, but November, December, January, and February are
mostly stay inside weather.
So it works out to about the same amount of time inside for each.
Of course I choose to ignore weather and am outside in whatever is going on. Usually.
In Virginia I hunted Groundhogs in the Shenandoah Valley all Summer regardless of the heat and humidity.
In Minnesota we snow mobile all Winter.
Man's gotta do what a Man's gotta do.
