Dodge Hemi V8 is done........

2023 will be the last model year for ALL the Hemi engines. A turbo straight 6 will be the replacement. Only have owned and still do a 2014 Ram 1500 with the 5.7 Hemi and so far no issues. Makes great power and around 21 MPG on the highway. What a shame!
After 2025 the electrics will be forced upon us if you want a new car/truck which is just plain stupid!
Glad I lived thru the best of times with the American V8 !

It's too bad. The hemi was fun in every vehicle I drove with one in it.

That's a beautiful build my friend.
I owned a number of powerful V8s, the Titan has one.
We have been very happy to have it several times we we needed all the power we could get. Never let us down.

I owned my 2015 Ram and it was a very good truck. Had all the power I wanted, but gas mileage was 17-18 mpg around town and maybe 20-21 with a lot of highway driving. Now I have my Silverado 1500 with 3.0 L diesel that just performs like a champ. I consistently get 28.5 mpg with the same everyday driving I did with my Ram. Towing a 3000 lb trailer this drops to 17.5 mpg.
The hemi was an iconic engine and I always wanted one. Now after getting this diesel I don't miss that hemi Ram at all.
