I was driving my '69 Coronet about 130mph when a school bus pulled out onto the highway. What flashed through my mind was killing kids and going to prison for life or dying leaving my family destitute and in shame. Took me what seemed a mile to get those drum brakes to stop that beast. I stopped at the last second on the side of the road on the shoulder. Last time I was ever that careless. That Bugatti could probably stop in 100ft going 130. Still crazy to drive that fast on a public road.
