Sudden change of plans......
Was going down to my range today.... that is until the right rear window on the wifes Ford Edge decided to pop off the track and crash to the bottom this morning! She had an early appointment and I was wiping the dew off the windows for her. Just as I got to that window she decides to hit the down button instead of waiting and I watched it sink on it's voyage to the bottom with a rattle and clunk! Yes....##&&### and $$$

Re: Sudden change of plans......
Well my plan was to get the window back up and fix it in place which I did with a small wood block and a 1/4-20 screw and nut.
Called the dealership and have an appointment for next week. The window regulator is a real mickey mouse thing with a cable that looks to wind up on the motor gear. Can't see much of it without removing the whole mess. Since I don't know if anything is broken on it I'll let the dealer fix it.
Have a chance of rain coming over the weekend so had to get the glass back up. Well it is 10 yrs. old so crap happens to plastic parts.
Had it together by Noon and then went to the range!
